Is it True or False that a compliment holds more value when it comes from one of your girlfriends compared to your significant other?
Women Supporting Women is a Powerful Tool! A simple “You’ve got this” lands deeper when it comes from another woman. She knows what it’s like to be in your shoes. It’s about sharing struggles and turning them into strength. It’s those micro moments of encouragement that create lifelong bonds.
Fitness spaces can feel like a chosen family. There is a certain kind of closeness that happens when we gather not just to talk, but to move together. The connection is not built on a shared resume; it’s built on showing up, sweaty, tired, and sometimes a little vulnerable. That kind of realness cuts through the surface chatter.
Whether they are in a physical studio together or on Zoom, they share the strong days and the shaky ones (no pun intended, Barre Babes). :) Over time, it creates a bond that’s less about being perfect and more about trust.
“Chosen Family” is not about blood. It is about people who hold you up, who celebrate your wins and who know when to offer a little lift when things get hard.
In our “Virtual Family”, those bonds grow in their own quiet way. A smile through the screen. A shared groan when “M” says “8 more reps.” And our “Pre-Class Banter” that slowly turns into something real.
Even miles and states apart, you feel the presence of people who get it. They see you, they root for you, and they keep showing up alongside you.
Let B4 be your “Chosen Family”!
Cheers to Staying Happy, Healthy & Fit! xo, M
